Age Groups:

ISC offers recreational soccer for children of all ages.  We offer both girls and mixed U8, U10, U12, and U14 divisions, as well as high school aged divisions in the Spring season.  Player age/divisions are determined according to Kentucky Youth Soccer Association's rules.   Please see the "Age Group For Rec Soccer" link on this page to determine which division your child will play in.

NKSL:

ISC is a member club of Northern Kentucky Soccer League (https://sites.google.com/site/nkslsoccer/home).  All games are played against other NKSL clubs.  There will be home games, played at Mills Road Park, and away games played throughout Northern Kentucky.  Typically, games are played on Saturdays.  

Team Formation:

Once registration has closed, we will form the teams.  We then inform the coaches of their rosters, and provide them with parent contact information.  The coaches will then notify the parents of practice date/time and location that they have scheduled.  ISC utilizes practice fields at Mills Road Park, Doe Run Lake Park, Lincoln Ridge Park, and Pioneer Park.    

Equipment:

Each child is expected to have their own cleats, shin guards and socks, and a ball of appropriate size.  Additionally, all players are expected to purchase a uniform kit.  These do not need to be purchased each season; provided the player has the appropriate kit and it still fits and is in reasonably good condition, they can be used for many seasons.    

Registration:

The registration fee is $95.00, but you can get $10.00 off if you register early!!!  Watch the website for announcements about early bird registration periods.

Age Groups:

ISC offers both U4 (age 4 and under) and U6 (age 6 and under) divisions.  A player's age group is determined using the same method as in our Recreational Soccer program.  Please reference the "Age Group For Rec Soccer" link on this page to determine which division your child is eligible to play in.  Players may 'play up' into an older age group (a child who is 4 may play in the U6 division) but no child is permitted to play down into the younger division.  

Game and Practice Schedules:

U4 games will be played on Sundays at Mills Road Park.  There will be approximately 20 minutes of instruction provided by a professional coach, followed by a game.  Parent coaches are not required for the U4 age group however, parents are encouraged to "volunteer" to help our coach make things run more smoothly, coordinate a snack list for the team, distribute t-shirts and team pictures, etc.   

U6 games are played on Sundays at Mills Road Park. In case of cancellations, due to weather, the games will be made up the following Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings.  In addition to games, U6 teams may hold optional practices on Wednesday evenings.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer as much as possible as we need Parent Coaches to run the games on the weekends, practices, coordinate a snack list for each team, distribute team t-shirts and pictures, etc.

Each child is expected to have their own cleats, shin guards and socks, and a size 3 ball.  Team t-shirts will be provided.
